Please join ArtTable DC for an informal conversation with Jennifer Duncan, Director of the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies (FAPE).
Since 2002, Jennifer Duncan has served as the Director of the Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies (FAPE) – the leading non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the United States’ image abroad through American art in U.S. embassies around the world. As Director, Jennifer’s responsibilities include the overall management of FAPE, including Board relations, art projects, fundraising and membership. She is the principal liaison between FAPE and the U.S. Department of State, and executes FAPE’s Annual Events for artist and donor recognition in Washington, DC.
For more than 15 years, Jennifer has led efforts to commission preeminent American artists to donate works to U.S. embassies for its Site-Specific Collection. She has managed the commission, installation and fundraising processes for these projects. Jennifer graduated with an Art History degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and is a Board member and Treasurer of the Association of Professional Art Advisors. She is also a member of ArtTable.
