BreakfastTable with Danielle Glosser
Danielle Glosser, Principal and Founder of Client Raiser, joined ArtTable members for an informal breakfast. She has a wide range of experience in social justice, from working at the White House under the Clinton administration to organizing diversity trainings for corporate executives. Both of her parents were entrepreneurs; eventually she realized that she wanted to follow in their footsteps and start her own business. She began with what came naturally - networking - in combination with the realization that she wanted to be working with artists.
Offering a wide range of services, Client Raiser focuses on the business side of an artist’s work. This can range from helping to write personal statements to assisting artists in approaching galleries. She has created a comprehensive list of 20 specifications that need to be met so that she can best help artists achieve their goals. Working one-on-one, and setting her schedule to the artist’s pace, she personalizes her approach to each client that she works with. Danielle loves to create opportunities for her clients, and has been described as “fearless”. Danielle discussed the supportive nature of the DC arts scene and the camaraderie among artists that comes with it. In addition, she addressed the question of how women can best help other women in the arts industry.
